A4 art print of Cosmic Dreams

Original digital drawing

The Cosmic Dreams print focuses on the design elements of the moon and sun, taken from the winter night sky and summer night sky bookmarks for riddleandravens.co.uk.

Due to the popularity of the bookmarks the designs were combined here to make an A4 size print, merging both sun and moon geometric designs, with all constellations included.
Like the bookmarks, the design uses detailed linework, and a night sky background (where again, both were digitally merged) which compliments the holographic rainbow foil meaning this print will look striking and beautiful any way the light hits it.

A4 art print of  The Crow Club

The Crow Club print was inspired by the well known book series "Six of Crows" by Leigh Bardugo.

So popular in the young adult literary community, the aim of this print was to capture the essence of the books and the characters themselves.

Six characters, six different weapons and powers, the print has a  cosmic style background with a subtle crow symbolism, and brings in detailed linework that has elements of each character worked into it.
Striking typography was used for the characters motto's - "No mourners, No funerals" used to wish each other good luck, and printed on the back of the special edition cover of the first book, and "When you can't beat the odds, change the game" from the second book, Crooked Kingdom, also printed on the back of special edition cover.

The books have a heavy tone of gambling and trickery, and the setting, Ketterdam, is very much influenced by Amsterdam, so the card game symbolism was brought in to the design, named "The Crow Club"after the main hang out for the characters.

A4 print of Anduril

The Anduril print is inspired by the sword of the same name from The Lord of the Rings books by J.R.R. Tolkien.  The design shows the famous sword wielded by Aragorn, as most popularly depicted in the film series, and has combined patterns in the background which were inspired by elements of the relevant lands this character is associated with - Elven style linework and leaves, with the Evenstar (a necklace of significance in the books) and Aragorn's crown worked into it.

Inspired by the courageous Sir Tom Moore (back when his title was Captain), during the first months of Covid Lockdown in the UK, I decided to design a print that I could look at it in years to come and remember how I felt knowing Sir Tom, at the age of 99, had not only served this country during the war, but also inspired millions the world over with his cause for completing laps of his garden.
I had the design made into prints to display in my window, to remind everyone that tomorrow will be a better day, that we can get through this. I have given some to family and friends to display in their windows, and are available for sale to raise money for the cause - which all goes directly to the NHS covid fund, as supported by Sir Tom himself.
